Ina's - Not Just My Mom's Name

Ina, aka the Breakfast Queen, in Chicago, Illinois knows all about being gluten-free accommodating.  Yes, my mom's name is also Ina, so I was doubly intrigued to find out if Ina's was all I heard it was cracked up to be. Ina, a leader in the effort to ban artificial trans fats, opened up Ina's Kitchen in 1991.  Ina understands and teaches cross contamination and is a hands on owner.  Her menu has GF all over it to signify those options that are gluten free accommodating.
Most importantly, she knows and appreciates good food!!!  Check out her breakfast menu below.  Note the top right "GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS" are highlighted in yellow.

Who doesn't love potatoes.  These were great. Flavored perfectly, not too much, not too little and the potatoes were cooked perfectly.  These are not the star of the show... Nope... The star is below...

I was most stoked to see Gluten Free Pita Bread on the menu!!!  Best of all, it's heated before it gets to you.  And yes, it's to die for!!  Yes, this is the STAR!!!

HUGE THUMBS UP for Ina's!!!

A must try breakfast spot when in Chicago!
