Mini Pops was kind enough to send me samples of their product to try. For those of you, like me, that hadn't heard of Mini Pops, no, its not popcorn, its popped sorghum!
Mini Pops has a column on its bags dedicated to educating its customers about what Sorghum is! If you can't read below, sorghum is the 5th most harvested cereal grain on the globe. In the USA, over 8 million acres of land is devoted to sorghum farming which happens to require far less water to grow than corn.
Another really cool aspect of Mini Pops is that they tell you exactly how they differ from popcorn, on each bag!
My favorite difference, that will influence me picking up a bag of Mini Pops vs. popcorn is that fact that there are NO HULLS!! We all hate having those annoying hulls in our teeth...
MiniPops takes the annoying part out of popcorn!!

My favorite flavor was the cutie caramel (I thought it was the tastiest and sweetest flavor).

The best part is the monster clusters I kept searching for. They are mini, and would last forever through a movie, taking one mini bite at a time. Making the clusters more like a great present you search for in the bag and devour!

My three daughters 11, 8 and 6, who are all picky eaters, like eating Mini Pops. The small size caught their attention and the great taste kept them eating it. Much better for them then potato chips or popcorn.
