Udi's Gluten Free Bread - Great for Cheesy Garlic Bread!!!

Udi's Gluten Free Food makes delicious white bread.  I personally have craved and missed garlic bread for a little too long, and decided it was time to re-create it.  My fellow Celiac's out there can sympathize with how difficult it is to find a great tasting bread.  I was thrilled to find Udi's.  (For those avid readers, you may also have seen my posts on Rudi's and Schar, two competitors to Udi's I also love).   The good news is that there IS great tasting gluten free bread out there!  I hate feeling like I'm missing out on something -- hence my love for homemade Udi's garlic bread.

I like to use the white bread for my garlic bread.

I just lay the bread onto aluminum foil, as many pieces as you'd like.

I like it very buttery.  I layer butter first, as much as you desire, and the type of butter you like best.  I then put a thick layer of garlic powder.  I personally love Goya's garlic powder.  I then layer mozzarella cheese all over the top.  I like them very cheesy, add cheese to your liking.

I bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes, I like it very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.  It's cheer perfection.

I'd love to hear your garlic bread recipes, and if you try this, let me know how you like it!!

THUMBS UP for UDI's!!

  1. Udi's price of bread is high, therefore, the bread slices should not have huge holes in the middle, where you are not able to make a decent sandwich.

  2. Trader Joes carries UDis I love it. I do the same thing for garlic bread. If you have a trader joes around you, im in Philly, they have a gluten free list of all their products!
